Reports haven’t been confirmed by Zynga or Microsoft yet, but Zynga’s stock has already risen 10 percent with just the mention of the executive’s move. Confirmation could come as early as today, after the market closes. Mattrick, who has been long in the gaming industry, could be a real asset to the gaming company that lately seems to be struggling to survive. Since Zynga’s IPO, the company has experienced large layoffs, offices shuttering their doors and a shutdown of the OMGPOP team they acquired last year.
